Mass destruction napalm

Recommended Posts

I got a box built for my 2 Funkin Audio 12" subs but something is wrong with one of them So I used 2 of my Mass destruction napalm's I had never used them before. I had the box built at 2.742 cubes ported to 40 for the funking audios the Mass destruction napalm seem to be doing ok and they seem very very loud..

My question is do you think they will be ok in this space or should I get 2 of something else like the BTL that is good up to 3 cubes..

I am running a xxx-6500d and they seem to be taking it ok I don't want to push them just yet as they are brand new. Open to suggestions don't want to smoke to new subs for sure.

From what i hear, the build quality on the Mass Destructions were poor, it was common for the soft parts to fail.

Could just retune the box for BTL's, run the napalms in the meantime while you save/buy new subs.

Yea I am just going to use the MD's until I can get some BTL's.. Looks like they would be fine in the box Ported box: 1.75-3cuft ( from FI ) I think they will be ok at 40hz as well. 40 does not sound bad but man is it f'ing LOUD.. lol

I don't want to bring the ports out side the box I hate the way that looks and looks so clean now so I think I will stick with trying to get an FI or DD set f 12"s to go in there.. If I could find someone that needs my VLX-400 I have been trying to trade that for 2 nice DD's or FI's but no luck yet. :(

Per sub.. Thats what my Funkin Audio subs called for but something is wrong with one and not sure what and trying to find another or get it replace. :(

I would just send them off to FI to recone and redo but not sure if that can be done or not since they are quad and not dual coil.
