my amp is Hifonics Brutus BXi2008D Class D AMPLIFIER 2000 RMS!

1ohm 2,000

2ohm 1,300

can gain amp to 1500 on gain so curious about it..

I don;t know about the RD Alpha sub but I just got some of the Audioque subs for a demo vehicle build and it those things slam. I am running a audioque 3500 per sub at about half gain.

These are not the right questions to ask. It's ALL ABOUT INSTALLATION.

Plus, I hate to break it to you or make your equipment sound bad, but that Hifonics does not put out rated power.

Personally, I think I'd take a DC LV4XL over either.

That doesn't mean too much lol. That's at rated wattage for one thing. When both the AQ & the DC can take twice their rated wattage. Plus, I'll state it once more, it's just about all in the install.

yes it would. But I have read where people used an AQ1200d amp & then swapped to a AQ2200d amp & got a 3db increase. I don't know for sure whether or not this is true. So I'd say use your amp for now, then upgrade if you're not satisfied.

Email or PM rusty for info. He's quick w/ replies. I don't think your supposed to give out the prices so I can't tell you. But, I will say this, it is pretty close to the cost of an AQ HDC3 aluminum coil.

That's about 4000wRMS to each. Unless he has them wired at .5Ω. If so, then he has more going to them than that.
