I don't have an answer for that, they just do. People ask me that a lot, but they just seem easier on the eyes to me.

2x!! Im not really familiar with the 9886 but i seriously doubt it has more processing than the older alpines. Same maybe but not more. i have a 9813 that was in my last car and i loved it.

The new alpines look cheaper imo also

Scratch the 9811 off the list, it's only got bass engine plus.
