running 2 12 nightshades in 5 cubes 34hz

Recommended Posts

i know 1.5-2 cubes per is key... with subs i'll probaly see 4.4 cubes... would i be fine running a 1500 d on each until i get my other 2 nightshades, which will be very soon for some i can have now for the moment.

I can't imagine 0.5 cubes will make any real difference in power handling. And if you're worried about it, just set your gains conservatively.

bigger box = higher efficiency = more output for the power you have available :)

may have to get that done in the next few weeks... box may need some bracing and a second baffle, that's about... everything else is done!!!

just put the shades in yesterday and i am totally satisfied with the products... the box is not carpeted yet and no vanity panels up yet... just is just a temp setup. future plans involve 3 ns's on 3 1500ds. i have my gain @ the 9:00 position and still breakin em in. they push so air which is great b/c my backseat does not fold down... they sound very good on music for my taste. they get low decently until i get a proper box built. A++++++ products here...
