fosgate t2000

Recommended Posts

getting ready to place an order for my Fi Q series 15's but not sure what amp to use. I havw a Jl1000/1 i'm useing currantley. I know that this this is not going to be enough to power the two subs, but will a fosgate t-2000 be enough or should i look for something bigger?

Need to figure out what amp to go with befor i can order my speakers.

2,000 watts is definitely enough for two Qs.

I have the T2000's for my BTL's and they are straight amps..

I havent hooked them up yet, But they are straight..

I seen how the T1000 puts out power to my buddies woofers..

So the T2000 is straight..

Yeah if your running both subs on one amp at a 1 ohm load then yes go with dual 2 ohms..

Ummm no. He needs to order D1 ohm.

thats what i thought if i get two d-2's that would put me at 0.5, so i need d-1's to get 1.0 ohm.

As opposed to......unstraight amps? Homosexual amps? crooked amps?

watch out for crooked amps, they may steal your batteries' power when you are not looking.

i have the same amp (JL 1000/1) powering 2 15 w3's but am about to buy 2 15 Q's also. if you use the jl amp before you get the fosgate amp let me know what they sound like since i'll be using the 1000/1 to power them for a while.

change of plans was looking around and found another Jl1000/1 . Got a deal so i'm going to run one sub on each, i wanted to get a t-2 but a little out of my budget now .I still plan on getting a t-2 or perhaps a t-4 but for now will work with this.

trying to decide wether or not to leave my box as one chamber or two separate, i know it's better to divide the box but the room i have is tight now . If I slit the box not sure if i will have enough air space.

It doesn't matter if they are divided or not.
