I have one, and I believe the knob is dead, the light does not come on and I cannot control the unit from it,

I dont want to send it into PG and have to pay 100 just for them to look at it, any ideas? or Dave could you take a look at it?

check the knob for any resistance or voltage.

my meter is broken
