What do you guys think of this amp? I saw a topic over at SMD and it didn't seem bad at all. I can get it for a REALLY cheap price, like, if it puts out even 3000 watts rms, then it is still worth it. It doesn't look too bad imo.

And, compared to the Crunch GP3000D-pro, what do you all think?

Some people say theyve had no problems with them, but then some say they have had nothing but problems.

I would take the crunch gp3000 over a power acoustik anyday.

Yeah, that power output just doesn't seem like it could be any where near 4200 rms. I can get that for 289$ free shipping, where as I can get the Crunch GP for 450$ free shipping. Anyone can really but I'm just saying. Would the price difference change your mind?

Not for me.

Just looking for input, thanks.

All and all, I would much rather get a Sundown 3000d but I'd rather save some money just incase I need the cash.

Eh, I might end up even waiting for the Sundown 2000d's to come out, I hope there is a pre-sale....

..Yeah, I'd Rather Save My Money And Buy An Amp That's Actually Worth That Much. Both Are Severely Overrated.

I'd Get A Sundown. Amps Isn't A Place To Cheap Out. Nothing Is, Really.

that gp3000d pro is rated at 3000 watts rms and has a required 300 amp fuse rating , i think the power acoustik has under 180 amps, sundown amps are over priced, do your homework first.

I've done my homework, I'm just asking for opinions bro...

and the Crunch isn't overrated at all, I was just seeing if the power acoustik was overrated, and I can tell it is by the 180 amp fuse rating.

Sundowns aren't over priced, they are just expensive. You get what you pay for really, and sundown has GREAT customer service and you just can't get that with many companies these days

Lol, yeah, people SWORE that Sundown was "overpriced" when the company first stepped on to the scene. But now, people are more than willing to pay the price.

The performance/price factor is great, back with great consumer service, you can't beat em.

I think it's like 3200wRMS. There's a topic in the Sundown section somewhere w/ all the tests w/ diff. voltages.

I forgot what voltage the 3200wRMS was at.

Jake's 3KD's put out about 3200 at 1 ohm on 12.5 volts.

They are rock solid, and I mean solid.

I thought that was a 12.5 volt test dropping to 10.5 volts or something like that, making the amp (3kd) put out even more?

I'm saying they will put out rated power at that low voltage.
