boat stereos

a buddy wanted some help with his 30' boat stereo... says he wants more.

what should i avoid? he claims too much vibration from the fiberglass hull. sound dead, the whole thing?

ideas...

but im guessing it would be a good idea!

there is one boat build on here that i know of... perhaps i can find it.

damn thats clean...

I went threw the basics with him, on how in depth a solid system is... alt's bat's ect....told him to get back with me with a $ amount max, and well go from there. Im already thinking a couple Fi q's 10's or 12's.. and whatever for mids... A sundown 1500 and 100.4 would be perfect imo, but again.. well see what he wants to shell out...

I know Im patiently awaiting my 3000D....... :bigclap:

depedning on the style of boat yes the motor... that and LOTS of batterys

Ground right to the battery. Use larger than average cable. Add more/larger batteries to his supply and buy him an isolator.

You don't want his system running off of his engine power.
