alright right im new here and im not the one to ask alot of questions or post alot of threads. so dnt worry about me postin dumb post. anyway now i have a fi btl 15 in a 4.5 box with a soundstorm amp in a mazda tribute. it hits but i know my sub can handle more power cus at times it clips and i think my sub is to powerful for my amp. i wanna know will this amp begood for this sub.....http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_16293_PowerBass+ASA-2200.1D.html

They do put out rated power.

2,000 Watts RMS per the Fi Specs

Is your box 4.5 ^3 after displacements? Ported?

What options came with your BTL?

well i was gonna plan on getting the amp in person cus he's giving me a good warranty so i just wanted to c what yall had in mind. cus i can go to my connect (audio shop) and hav them order it and stil hav good warranty. and for my box i have 3 ports and its fully loaded. and if i can remember its tuned to either 33 or 35 hertz.

I have no experience with Powerbass but if you can get it from a reputable dealer then your good to go.

Fully Loaded BTL can take alot of power. Might want to look at something bigger if you have the proper electrical.
