SSD on Crown amp

Recommended Posts

To be able to dominate the lows, what should I tune my box to. I know Fi recommends 33hz. But I'm not familiar with what frequency creates what sound. If i do tune the box to lets say 30hz. Will I only get good output from the lows or would the mid-lows be hit pretty good too. I dont give a s... about the highs.

Hi, im jay, i was wondering about the SSD15, I noticed it is 800W RMS if i wired it @ dual 2 ohm to make it 4, AND put it on a [XLS crown802] which would give it 800W@4ohm perchannel, and 2100@4 bridged, Do you think it could power it? and if so how about 2 of em from the bridged? thank you and please respond respnd back if possible! Also what would i need to tune it to to listen to NUTTIN but low, around 28-32herts? thx! -jay

One SSD per channel might be a better plan. I assume you're using this for a home theater, so add the Copper coil option and the BP Power option.

As far as tuning that low however, the SSD doesn't thrive down there. Sure it can play, but if you want something native that loves being down that low... go to the Q.
