About to buy two L7 12 and need to know what size amp I need to run them?

Around 1500 watts should be plenty for daily driving.

Will depend on the overall enclosure size as well.

Power might be cheaper if you got the DVC 4ohm drivers and wired them to 1ohm.

4 8's would be cool but thats just what I want to run for fun,

but Ihave messed with the newest L7's some, and they can get a little louder than the lasty two versions, and seem to take a little more of a beating

On the KX1200.1 how many watts and if I add an other sub will this work?

Yes you can run 3 subs off that amp.

many of the KX1200s have been over the 1450watt range, giving close to 500 per sub, and in the right sized ported box that is plenty for the L7
