which 12" subs?

tryin to see what 12s would u guys choose to run on a aq2200 @ 1? lookin to spend about $500. this is goin in a 03 impala and i got 5 cubes to play with. lookin mostly for SPL.

you have alot of options, 2 FI bl's , 1 BTL, 1 mach 5 spl, incriminator, 2 SSA icon's....... and many more it all comes down to what you want. a daily pounder or comps, mix of both. so many choices I myself would like to try all of them and as soon as I hit the jackpot I just may.

I know I didn't really answer your question. but with all the great choices I feel you will just have to pick what jumps out at you. as I am sure you have a few in mind.

i feel you. there are alot of choices out there, thats why i made the thread. tryin to get some ideas. im tryin to stick with 2 12s though

Oh yeah, your going for "SPL"????? do you compete? or you just want to be loud? there is a difference.

yea i do a lil competing here and there but basically goin for a dd thats loud and low. i listen to rap and r&b

ICONs play the lows really well, sounds like two 12's in that amount of space would work out great for you. When are you looking to start your project? We have XCONs coming out in a -4-8wks that would love that amount of power and get plenty loud and sound incredible while doing it.

im not sure i want another 1 sub setup. i have an 15" hdc3 now, and want somethin thats goin to get louder and lower. i think if i was to get another 1 itll b a nightshade, mach5 spl, or ia dp
