Dont know much about the RE SX, XXX or the MT 12 subwoofer, just saying how how they compare to the Kicker L7 12 or the Soundstream T4 12? Do they need a ported box or a sealed box? About how much each one run in price have $1200 for the box, subs and amp?

$1200...You just want a single 12? What vehicle is this going in? I would do a ID Max v.3 12 with a 800-1000w clean class a/b. That would sound great and get loud. Unless you are going for all out SPL then I would do an MT and some chunglam 2-2.5kw.

SX's would do the best in a daily driver. They sound great and don't need much room. I would do 2 SX 12's ($500) and a Hifonics Collosus XX ($650 ebay) $50 for wood and you are set. 2 cubes a piece, double baffled all around, about 80-100 square inches of port, tuned to 35 and you will be set. You can also do a plug setup that you stick in the port to lower the tuning, and when you take it out, it raises the tuning to like 50 if you want to compete.

I was talking to Charles Estes who has used these 12s extensively and he said they don't like any more than 2 cubes each.

You may also want to do some upgrading to your electrical system for that amp. It is quite a beast.

Good luck.

I would like to put two and the vehicle is a 2000 Bucik LeSabre.
