SPL S3 Vs. Nightshade

Recommended Posts

Well I officially think he is retarded. He does not remember what amp he is getting, he says "it's kick ass, it's a $1200 amp so it will beat you" So I texted him back and said, "That's some hefty power. You better blow my eardrums if my nightshades don't beat you too it!" After I said that he said something along the lines of, BTL's are like twice the power so they will walk all over yours. I wanted to bitch slap him for being such a fucktard. Pleace pardon my language :)

Well, hopefully he does the install himself. He sounds like such a tard that I'm sure the install would suck so no matter what he bought, it would not be as loud as my ass after a plate of refried beans.

I don't think he will do it, he is just so caught up in being better than me so he is gonna get some of the best equipment out there, and go cheap with the electrical upgrades. I told him he is gonna drop thousands but he still wants to do it. And this is a high school kid, dream on!

Team members are having pretty good luck with the updated models with higher than rated power.

Update: He has these http://www.splusa.net/SW_SPLW.htm but he is selling them, we wants to be the loudest in school so he says he's getting 18" BTL's. :suicide-santa:

Those are pretty much the Power Acoustik Mofo's. They can do some damage but tend to fall apart.

ahh. well we will hope he wont fall through ;)

Well Rob he's not gonna do it. He is gonna stick with his 15"s and he had a 2800 WRMS amp, I don't know what, I haven't seen it yet. He was a smart ass and said hes not gonna go with the BTL's cause he doesn't want to blow me out of the water, he wants some competition. Ill give him some damn competition.

dude, seriously just tell him to shut the hell up and when he finally gets his chit together than talk. Is this a friend of yours? Usually friends listen and help each other.

I had a kid who would talk so much chit on me because he has 2 12" Power Bass subs and I only had 1 12" (Fi Q). Well, needless to say, he bought my Q off of me 2 weeks after hearing it. :)

Jacob has been hung up a few times in the hi 140's. His secret to breaking 150 is the Probox grill.

The SPL mofo like series sub is not bad for the money. I have heard them and tested them before. However, they soon fall apart. But there has been hardly anything stronger in sound quality then my nightshades. The only sub stronger in sound quality were my critical mass subs. That is saying alot, especially comparing it to a $2000 sub!!!
