Kicker vs Fi BTL

Recommended Posts

I currently have just 2 12" kicker comps that i bought at curcit city.

I want... i NEED, more power and bass :)

So now I'm deciding between 2 15" Kicker L7's or an 18" Fi BTL

I'm looking for loudness!

Can you tell me about these subs? Like sound quality, and how loud they are?

oh yea, im driving a 4runner right now... what ever i get i know that i have to get new batteries and a better altenator! haha but yea,

thanks for the help,!

Well I know a bit about the L7's. The L7's can get really loud but they have bad quality. I'm not sure with the Fi but those things can get pretty loud as well.

whats your budget? He is right they get loud but sound funny i have one L7 12 sounds pretty good but the 15's have an odd sound at high levels. I have heard a single Fi btl older model and it was amazingly clean with like 3kw on it.

If you bought your current subs at circuit city, I'm guessing you bought your box there too.

If you did, perhaps building a new box for your subs would be all you need to achieve a louder sound. Those prefab boxes are junk.

Well, having a question like KICKER VS FI BTL on this thread (especially in this forum) is generally going to get a response for preferring Fi.

In my opinion, Kicker anything sounds like crap, I would just get the single 18" BTL.

What is your budget? What music do you listen to? what amplifier do you have? Enclosure?????

didnt tell us much, you would get more help with the info above.
