been really busy and havent had the time to post in what feels like weeks.

ive been playing with xover and add TA. im very impressed with it! i got some rattle goin on with the door panel that i need to pin down.

im still planning on getting a hybrid horn box designed by thumper. im playing around with the idea of rebuilding my sub into a 10 or 8... and walling off the trunk.

as far as the amp rack is concerned i really like the concept but im not sure if its the right idea for my car. i need to rework it alittle so it hugs the bottem of the rear deck. as it is right now i dont have enough clearance to move my box under the amps.

if i can get more vertical clearance i will go head and have thumper draw me up a box.

other option im thinking about are false floor, amps in spare tire well, dropping the sub all together and going 3 way, or etc

---------------

right now ill just take care of the immediate problems.

ill get pics up. there not much to look at but maybe it will help if i get some suggestions.

ok im going take some pictures now.

the things i need to do yet are:

1. get the amp rack to hug the rear deck better.

2. fix rattles in the front doors.

3. fix rattles in/around the center console/dash

4. consider purchasing hybrid horn box design from thumper (if i can make the space im really interested in doing it for fun)

5. dress the rack up (wrap or paint)

6. sell the pg's to my bro and get some AA carbon mids and some tweets. (or mach 5 mids if i cant afford the AA's)

7.... tune tune tune

first we got pics of the doors sealed up.

unfortunatly i did this in the cold and the clay i used around the woofer baffle in the driver side door didnt hold up.

heres the tweet and woofer with the door panel on.

i may try the tweet up in the factory location but they are sounding very good where they are now.

hu.

the trim piece that would normally hid the sliver mounting sheath thing will not fit due to the factory molding.

i plan to take some black spray paint to cover the exposed silver/gray color.

this view is equivalent to looking back from the front seat. however i positioned the camera lower to show the exposed endcap of the 250.2

this is why i want to get the rack more snug to the rear deck... however if you sit in the seat and glance back u cannot see the endcap.

here is the basic layout of the rack before mounting.

here is a view from the floor of the trunk.

sub and box looking sassy

haha

the terminals are bolts... if ur wondering why they are off to the side its because i want to add the another pair and wire the vc's to them separately. need more wire first...

view of amp rack from trunk. (notice the home made uber speaker wire for the sub!!!)
