Hence my reply. :D Old school CV is GREAT stuff. No huge Xmax, no HUGE displacement. Just good clean bass. That's what it all about!

Nothing like a Stroker. Let's see. Well, take a Tempest with about half of it's displacement. That's what this is.

I have to agree with the guy that said. WHY? I had 2 of the 12's at one time and they were decent at best. EVERY sub I bought after those were upgrades IMO. I would put those as one of my least favorite subs to date. They sounded pretty good but the Soundstream SPL's sounded better and got louder for less money.

Not looking for loud. SQ is subjective and easily attainable with ANY capable driver. Sorry your experiences were not good. I happen to have quite a bit of experience with these drivers and I fully understand their capabilities.
