12" Fi Q & Kicker ZX750.1 Question

Recommended Posts

This is what i am going to do:

2002 Impala

12" Fi Q dual 2ohm w/o bp option

Kicker ZX750.1

2.5 cf^3 at 32hz ported box tubeafter displacement

Kinetic battery under the hood

Cap

Big 3 upgrade

**NO ALT UPGRADE**

Is all this fine & should anything be changed?

Better amp for a cheaper price?

Any other suggestions or comments?

The sub is D2 ohm and the amp does is rated power at 2 ohms, not 1 ohm stable.

In other words if you want to use the amp to its full potential get D1 ohm.

D1 ohm sub wired in series will present the amp with a 2 ohm load.

If you know the cap doesn't do anything for you... don't use it.

I doubt you'll get any dimmage with that little power anyway.

It wont hurt anything to have it & my lights might dim. i have seen my inside lights dim before without the system. It also looks kinda cool in my trunk if someone wants to see my system.

use 1/0 for big 3. you dont have to but you'll get more current, even 4 would make a difference

Why kinetik Id rather use Powermaster or Deka if your on a budget. Also the size depends on what you can fit.

Id go 1/0 for big three. Stock alt id guess 90 to 110 amp.
