Indeed, everything about lithium is nice. Mostly though because of the size reduction and the smaller weight.

I remember when lithiums first started coming around in some applications... I'm sure they have been out longer than I knew of them though... They have come a long way, very nice!

The new lithium models were originally designed for drag racing, but since their release we have seen interest from many other areas of racing, including NASCAR, Speedboat racing, and Motorcycle drag racing. The cost and capacity of these products really do not lend themselves well to auidio though. Maybe one of these days we will have a product that is specific for audio.
