Clean LOUD bass help

Recommended Posts

After installing the FI BL FL with a 1500zx, it has shown its power. My friend is looking to develop a system with Rockford Fostgate in mind. The T1500 or the T1000, I was looking for 2 SUbs 13"+ that would hit hard at 1 ohm, or if it is not stable at 1 ohm, something thats stable at 2 ohms.

Also, could the Rockford Fostgate amps power 2 subwoofers but still give the rated power of wattage to each Subs?

He dosent want to spend more then $1100 on the amp and subwoofer and installation.

Amp Prices are:

T1500 = $430

T1000 = $360

Installation being around $150

Leaving $520 To play with for the 2 Subwoofers.

Thanks

Not enough budget as the box will eat a large portion of that $520

Depends on your definition of sound nice. Not what I'd choose, but they might do what you want.

clean LOUD is NOT a description that will allow anyone to really help. More details are required. Box type, size, install, listening desires...

box positioning will also have a noticeable effect. just did an install for a friend made a custom box for his 2 12 type r's subs and port same side firing back in his liberty sounded good but wasnt that loud turned the box up and is was much louder.

I want a sealed box with two 15", has alot of loudness potential and still hits clean. I will get trunk space but the wehicle is the Chrylser 300M 1999, and it has a big amount of space to fill up

I thought you wanted loud? Why would you do sealed if you keep reference loud. H

Because I wont be able to fit 2 15" subs in my trunk comfortably, and you can get louder with a sealed box, if you have 2 15" L7 kickers on a Rockford Fostgate T1500 I' pretty sure thats going to be loud no matter what type of box its in. Im going over to my local audio store today to see if they can put a ported box in my trunk but 2 15" L7 in a ported box will be extremely loud.

L7's really, really want to be ported. I think your "logic" is flawed.

you have a bl already....why not just get another one if you want "more potential on the volume knob"

two 15" bl's will satisfy you more so than the two l7's IMO.

Louder with a sealed box?? lol wow...If you really think two 15L7s sealed off 1500 watts will be loud no matter what then I agree with M5. L7's sound like crap in sealed enclosures and their output is weak compared to them in a nice ported enclosure.

Go for it...you won't be impressed...then come back to us

a JL 1000/1 will cost you alot of money. theres better out there for cheaper. A Sundown SAE 1000D would be better IMO.

I vote for a single sub on the T1000 and budget for some deadening (Second Skin) with the remaining money.
