mounting 4 channel infront of sub box

Recommended Posts

I have my kenwood excelon 4 chan mounted in front of my sub and port... I think the vibration is the reason I had to get the digital processor replaced on the amp and kept giving strange errors on the display. we tried larger head screws and my next option is rubber washers to stop the amp from vibrating so much. or would it be smart just to forget about the amp and jump on the pre order for the sundown 100.4. has anybody ever heard of that problem before?

Was it on your trunk floor? Also, picking up a Sundown is never frowned upon around here! :)

The worst place to mount an amp is on a subwoofer box, especially if it is on a large, unbraced panel.....
