its only shouting if you read out loud. sorry for the yelling. box is 24x16x36 i use PSP areo ports. unless someone thinks i should use a slot port which i don't know the tuning for square ports

tuning is the same with slot ports as it is for round ports. If you have 20 sq. inches of round port that needs to be 10" long to tune to 35 hz, 20 sq. inches of slot port will also need to be 10" long to tune to 35 hz.

thats whats i thinking but i've always had huge boxes for my subs my L7 12 3.77 my L5 10 2.75, so how about three 12 bl's vs 2 15 bl's in a box 8^3 tuned 36hz

On another note, can someone explain the difference between a slot port and flare ported box? Built to the exact dimensions, and tuned the same, whats the difference?

by flared ports, are you meaning aero ports??? port noise, turbulence, and in a case like mine, aero's are garbage I only think they any good for sompeting a hatch back, I like my large boxes with stupid slot ports LOL...

I would do the 2-15's they will sound insane.

I dont really PERSONALLY like the sx subs, I would take the cash and run, but quite honestly it all depends on what worx best for you

well i want to do two 15s, but i like 1 big box for 1 good sub. i was thing about the nightshade but its so expensive. i can get kicker mtx at big discount and my buddy is gonna do two 18SX figure he is ordering those i'd get one at the same time but never heard one in action, seen videos of them on youtube.
