wire both positives to the positive on the amp, then both negitives to the negitive on your amp.

dual 2 ohm wired like this gives you 1 ohm load to your amp.

Don't do that unless you have a monoblock, or one that has 2 outputs but is internally bridged. DO NOT do that with a 2 channel, meaning don't have one channel running one voice coil and the other channel running the other voice coil.

Ok so you have a RF 3000 amp and a BTL. yet you need to ask this question. before you hook up that expensive equipment I would highly recomend you research basic car audio 101.

I am not trying to be mean but you have high power,high dollar stuff that if done wrong could be very bad for you and your equipment.

just my opinion

i understand that, i know basic car audio things but i have never worked with an amp this expensive and i just wanna make sure i do everything right so i am double checking on here with the way i plan on doing things,

i had my sub wired right and i plan on plugging it into the first input on my amp is that right?

Seriously, before you apply power to anything go to your local shop and have them look over your install. Your having a tough time with the real basics, do yourself a favor and have it checked out.

Why not??? Will not hurt anything. . .People do it all the time. . .

Please don't think that both voice coils have to get the exact same signal or it will damage them. . .

Eh, depends. There is an audio shop about 45 minutes away from my house and I would trust the owner to do about anything to my car. Very knowledgeable individual. (Note: A couple of the installers may have ingested lead paint at sometime, hence I always talk to AJ about my stuff.)

where do you live ?

if you post the town and state you live in you might find that someone lives close enough to help you check it before powering it up.

I am in enfield ct.

if your close i have meters and o-scope as do many on here, and could even help you set your gains safe.

it might be worth a try.

like already said that is some realy nice gear you have, don't burn it up.

good luck either way. and get some earplugs :-}
