them1:mtx power 1000000 its 6 ft tall and can crush basketballs lol (not even joking) but honestlyyou need to look in your wallet, look at your vehicle, decide about up grade or not the electrical of the car then decide how much space you have to work with and then look at your wallet again and decide what you want it to do to what types of music and choose. getting the right stuff reguardless of types or brands is better than getting the wrong sub for the wrong application. some subs get loud in big boxxes and other sound nice in small boxxes................

Themsubs need the box plus they have to physically fit where they need to go. a really loud box for a pair od digital designs or kicker solo barics can literially be as big if not bigger than a floor standing freezer

but here goes anyway... buy 8 15'' mmats Juggernaut subwoofers. then get a wall built (assuming you have a bus) and run 4 amplifiers of some sort (with alot of power) preferably something thats 1k + watts. even 2k. that should put you around the 160 range. atleast.

Them2:it means (just guessing here) that if you follow the threads and try to learn you should be able to actually pick your own stuff out but being how you are going about it i would just get whatever your installer suggests because if you dont have an idea about it how will he if he hasnt worked with a possible brand he hasnt seen. would you want a honda mechanic doing a tune up to your jag? not only that with no idea knowing what we have to work with noone can tell if 8's 10's 12's 15's or 18's would even work in it so as open ended as you left it ill still uphold the mtx power 100000, it would probably cost ya about 120,000 and need to be put in a large delivery truck. oh and btw it needs 15,000 to 90,000 watts rms and weighs over (last i knew 4500 lbs) should be able to do 180 db if you build your box right... lol

Them:Here, Ill be smart for ya. A subwoofer makes no noise at all. You can get 4 18" subs and have no db's at all, unless you drop them on the ground. You need an amp to supply voltage to them. And for the amp, you need voltage going to that, and for that you will need a constant power supply. Then you will need something that will send an audio signal to the ampplifiers. Then once you have everythign hooked up it will make noise, most likely not loud thoug. Put the subwoofers in a box and play them, then you will have noise.

If you want to talk about being the loudest on earth, then you have a lot of work to do. I think Pioneer is the loudest on earth now with thier truck? Or ScottieJ with his van, im assuming here, I could very well be wrong. Anyways, these guys are running multiple woofers with around 100kW in total.

I would say for a world record, get 150 15" RE MT's and about 2megawatts and put them in a jumbo jet that is braced to all hell with 1" titanium. Then you may make a world record. Hell, you may even reach the loudest dB possible on earth, I think its like 191dB

but basicly what we are saying is...there is no loudest sub in the world...to be the loudest...or at least try 2 be..u have to use multiple speakers and a chit load of power per speaker...and have an electrical sytem to lite up times square..then u will be ok i guess

with my truck i needed 7 batts..2 300amp alts just to hit 160..so if u want to be louder...u have 2 atleast quadruple what i did.
