I was reading about the PG tantrum 1200.1. I have a 13w7 in a prowedge box. Im gonna wire it in series to push a 3ohm load, would this amp be efficient for that setup? The amp I believe is 2 ohm stable, i hear its much easier to use a 2ohm stable amp rather than finding a .5ohm stable amp.

thats a great amp I have had mine for 7 years. It also does full power 2-4 ohms so it should be a good match.

haha yeah he might be selling in a month or so, might take it off his hands. i tried searching for it online used or new, that thing is rare to find.

Regulated is the way to go if you have one of those oddball 3 ohm subs.

///M5, do you mean a MOSFET regulated power supply? Or the JL Audio R.I.P.S. System?
