You should move Aaron.

Mark has been trying to get me to move to Phoenix for a few years now. And with this last trip there a few months ago, it was very tempting. But, it will be near impossible to move the family more then a 3 hour drive away due to the wifes family ties and my mother being on her own for the most part.

I get sick everytime I set foot in AZ. The lack of humidity kills me. Funny too since before I started travelling I didn't really ever get sick. Not since the mid 80's anyway.

Oh, an :woot: CQC (home automation software) is currently controlling my stereo in the basement playing music in whatever room I feel like via the Squeezebox without changing the interface. It also can control the lighting in the house. Hopefully in an hour or two I'll have some nice graphics and Pandora+internet radio working with it as well.

Found out, here in MD we are paying 2 to 3 times the amount per kilowatt then all the surrounding states.

How many more customers are on the grid in MD than your surrounding states?

No idea. :(

WALKERSVILLE, Md. - A Frederick County high school girls softball coach has been fired for hosting an end-of-season cookout at his Walkersville home where beer was served to other parents.

It was a cookout around Brad Young's backyard swimming pool on June 11 celebrating the end of a winning season.

"And one parent brought some beers to the party. A couple of people had those-- probably no more than five or six," said Young. "No kid was uncomfortable. No kid had access to it. No kid drank. No parent got more than probably one or two beers. I did not drink."

But another parent called the Frederick County School Board, which tells FOX 5, "The incident in question took place at what is considered an official team function."

And so Brad Young was fired and banned from coaching for three years.

fucking retarded

are you serious? I'm glad we have his dangerous ass out of the way so that we may have role model coaches like we had when i was in school. (That middle aged guy slept with all those 15 -18 year old girls)

teachers aren't teachers anymore, they can't be friends and they can't speak truthfully about anything, we are being controlled from such a young age

Notice the state in which this occurred. ;)

Maryland, home of the HUPC, the monumentous taxes, and hypocritical back stabbing gov.

HUPC = hyper uber PC

Its funny how my teacher talks bad about Maryland because he is from there. He also actually praises the Tx government...

I have a college buddy that moved to Texas, because it bothered him here so much.

I sort of wish my pc would die, then I'd have a faster one. It has been way overclocked and running fucking stable now for more than 5 years. I figured where it was clocked a year would kill it.

I think I have replaced the main HDD in it 4x during the same period. Fricking unreliable harddrives.

About how much more than PA? I am trying to talk my wife into moveing out of PA.

I believe we are paying 12.8-13.1/KWH compared to 4.5-5.2/kwh in the surrounding states. :(

Huh? IIRC ours is around $0.065/kWh. What units are you using?

Here's a tip for ya. For utilities, you are billed for peak usage, so if it's summer time and you want to turn on your AC, wait until the beginning of your billing cycle. If you turn it on at the end, you'll be billed for the entire month at peak rate, even if it was only at peak for a matter of seconds. Same thing with gas.

the more juice your state uses the higher your rates are...states like Texas (and apparently Maryland) usually have twice the rate of states like, say, Ohio, Minnesota, etc.

Had an ok day. Went fishing this morning in beautiful weather, about 68* but a bit windy (Hell for the middle of July in Kansas, I'll take that temperature no matter the wind). Only caught one little bass in the two hours I was out, but it was worth it. Then I went and bought some protein powder to try and help me gain weight and make my little home workouts a little more productive, got the keys to my new place and checked it out for the first time, then came home and worked out. Now it's time to grill some steaks!

BUTLER, Mo. — Buy a truck and get a free AK-47 gun.

That's the deal a Missouri truck dealer is offering new customers who buy a pick-up truck in August.

Mark Muller, owner of Max Motors in Butler, says he knows people will be bothered by the promotion.

But not to worry, Muller is not handing out free guns. Instead, he will give buyers a voucher to use at a gun store after they obtain a license to carry a concealed weapon.

The AK-47 is an upgrade on a previous promotion in which Muller gave away vouchers for the price of a Caltec pistol.

The retail value of an AK-47 is $450 dollars but Muller says customers can spend their voucher on the gun of their choice.

Built an enclosure and mounted an amp in the V6 today. Been a long time since I've actually installed some audio gear. Just hope this amp I've had for 5 years and never used still works.

Found a decent Regal and a nice Monte today. I'm not really a fan of the first gen G-bodies, but this one is really clean and a good price. See if I can steal it if I don't come across something else.
