<--LOVES electrical storms

Same here.

I do too because I love thunder and the spectacle of lightning. Just not when I'm trying to sleep.

Have to work outside all day today, and found out it's going to be 101* where I'm going. Wonderful. So excited to sweat 14 gallons today.

Ahh i went out to a cabin with some friends to float down this river, was about 100 outside all day but the river was down and there was no current so it took us around 5 hours of swimming in the HOT sun to get back to the cabin. Ill tell you, I ended up with one of the worst most painful sunburns ive ever had :coolugh:

Lots of coffee and advil to get moving this morning.

asprin and AMP energy for me.....

I can't handle energy drinks. With all of that energy, I tend to to wild things.

There are many other ways I prefer to get my sugar and caffeine. The whole idea of packaging it as an energy drink is a fucking joke. Go eat a damn apple.

I call them what they are. Stimulants.

For me, they are easier on my stomach. Some I like the taste of too. No sugar ever for me. Sugar messes me up.

is it time to go back to college? i have a hunch that school would squelch the attitudinal indifference you've been feeling lately :)

sweet! they have me prep reading about the global value chain of the ipod and i believe part of our research is to track all aspects of production and distribution with respect to the CNT's. i also think my working group is doing research on organic photovoltaics. the awesome thing about it is so far i've met with my graduate mentor, and the program directors several times and i still don't have a clue what's expected of me. :fing34:

Kind of liking the new VW TDI Sportwagen. :)

What no pictures?

40mpg, good power, sporty sedan, plenty of space for family and audio stuffs, and available in manual. :)

The 2.0 tdi is a beast. Drove a friend's '06 Passat with that engine. 6spd manual :coolugh:

First time I experienced torque steer...

I don't understand the hate towards fwd in a family / commuter car. A performance car is a diffrent thing.

For scooting around town and commuting, I agree. The VW pictured above would be unreal with some little HP gains. :)

SOunds cool for your new gig.

I'm almost sure that school would help. I need to become more clear of what I would like to do. As long as it's in any of the sciences I think I will be happy. Just need to narrow it down.

I will say school is not really an option right now. I also know in saying that, that I am coping out. Anything is possible in my position, I just have to make it happen. I would have to compromise a LOT of comfort to get to the point where I can go to school. Unless I were to take some online classes, I doubt that I could emotionally handle full time work, my obligations to my wife/family, and my physical health.

It's still a cop out, I just have verry tight reasoning behind it. I am finding more and more however that as I explore life options school becomes more and more the most likely path to get to where I want to be.

I do not like how FWD cars drive. I grew up driving one, but when I drove my first RWD car or AWD car I became much more satisfied with how they drive. Especially in snow. I used to think that FWD was SOOOooOoo much better in the snow. I call shenanagins on whoever came up with that. The only reason it works is because of where the engine is.

Is it horrible, and the worst thing ever? No. But I would like RWD/AWD more.
