Come to think of it, I could just take no dose. But then I'm a pill popper, and that isn't socialy acceptable but drinking something perhaps worse for me is.

I really miss ephedra. Bad. Coffee is just about the only thing that helps me with my alergies that I have. Or when I have a cold. All that BS that is in cough medicine and pseudaphed makes me feel high. Ephedra cleared my nose and lungs and I didn't feel jittery or goofy.

I'm not knocking your car, i'm just saying the SRT is extremely fast for a stock car, and you shouldn't be able to touch it if yours is stock.

You've obviously never ridden in an Eaton'd 3.8 MN12. They are nasty down low. Run out of steam pretty quickly though.

never have but the srt6 weighs less has way more HP and only about 20ft lbs less torque (curves not taken into account) so i can't imagine how they'd even come close on the highway.

HP and torque are nothing but numbers by themselves. They tell you nothing without factoring in the gear ratios of the tranny/rearend, shift points, stall speeds, etc. . .

My old Cobra has less HP and torque than an LS1 F-body and was heavier, but I would kill them out of the hole. Top end was another story, and that's where the powerband is on the 4.6 4V.

While i get what you're trying to say, are you willing to stand behind the statement that you think the thunderbird had a chance in the mentioned race?

In a race around the track, or from a dead stop, or a top speed challenge, no. Not at all. My car has a sweet spot, almost like a power band on a 2 stroke, from 60-85.

I'm still standing by he was either A) playing with you or B) didn't know how to drive

It is completely possible, I'm not going to argue that against you. :) However, I probably won't be able to race another SRT6 seeing as I've never seen another one around! BUT if I do, I will post honest findings :P

If a beer tastes so bad you need to put something in it, perhaps you shouldn't drink it in the first place.

Thoughts on Stella Artois? I had that when I went to Canada for New Years, and I really liked that stuff.

I drink a lot of Stella as it is on tap everywhere here. Sort of a Euro-budweiser, but 1000's of times better than the American equivalent.

Sean, do you have any albums of your car? I am in love with it and would really like to see some pictures! (I'm a whore for red paint and class.)

Nothing on the web. I am going to take some more pics now that I have a real camera as she is going up for sale soon.

I'd rather drink a PBR than a lot of things. It actually tastes like beer. The trend I don't understand are all the no carb beers. Umm, beer is basically carbs if you don't want a beer fucking don't drink one. Mich Ultra, Bud Select *pukes*

Agreed. I'm just mad that PBR costs so much at the bars.

:)

The last time I bought a PBR in a bar was a few weeks ago while snowmobiling up North. I think I paid $1.25 for the bottle :D

for most vehicles.. i need to get a whole new glass piece my lights are GAY

note getting a new complete light housing is the proper way to go.

the pop and play method, most of the time blinds other drivers, because the light is not focused correctly

I'm working on getting some more proper housings. But for now I ride with the dims on, which are still Halogen.

It's strange but I love it!! The one bulb "base" has the HID and a Halogen on it. The Halogen is till brighter then my old ones but are focused fine.

Sort of defeats the purpose then now doesn't it. If you spent that money to "look cool" I really don't get it. :(

I didn't buy them to look cool, I bought them for me. I usually end up on a country road all alone in complete darkness, which is when I use them. Alone on roads........... and when people have theirs brights on and won't turn them off. :angry22:

If you got a little bit of a jump on him, and your car really likes that range, I could quite easily see that. My old S-10 was just damn quick for a 20mph band, and if you got the jump on something a lot faster they had to work to pull back ahead for that little bit.

No kidding. I hate bar prices. I can pay 2.75$ for a crap beer special, or go to the local brewery in town and get a real beer for 2.50$...

In my true audio changing fashion, when I move in june I will be building a new set of speakers... Think I'm going to build an open baffle set for shits and giggles to try out. I've kept my current full ranges for over a year now which is the longest I've had a set of speakers in one place.

Probably going to order my Peerless SLS here in about 2-3 weeks and start on the midbass!

(Probably should do the mid and tweet first, but I figure it's going to be easier to learn this way.)

*Buying an extra kick panel and door panel to test on too....hehe

It rocks, although I'd like a few more objectives for it.

Need something to do with the 160 10" drivers I have, and they just scream OB project to me. Will probably end up building garage speakers too out of them.

I am really looking forward to having a garage to piddle around in. :)

Its just a shame I don't get the keys to the landlords '66 Vette that is going to occupy the other side of the garage.

if you were to go into the urban areas it's more. MUCH more. I saw it selling for 5 bucks for a 16 oz can.

I hate the crabby uptight feeling I have had so many days recently....

If I hadn't remodeled the house, and had a big wedding I could have quit my job and taken a year off.....

=/

It is cone and basket treatment. Now I don't know how much the cone does, but I can't recall seeing any threads on forums about how it doesn't work. The 85k does need some basket work done to it from the factory in my opinion, when I get time I am taking my dash back apart to do some to mine too.

As I can see they are using some sort of modelling clay on the basket. Is that what you were thinking of doing for treatment ?

Probably yes, but wasn't sure how well modeling clay would hold up in the heat they are exposed to in the dash. Possibly sound damping material (most likely some second skin brand). But what Dave (planet10) uses is a hardening paste that he shapes if I remember correctly.

I played in the weekend with some material almost like modelling clay, non-hardening and it is designed for in-car use.

As soon as I'm done with school I'm buying a can to have when I re-work my doors. If you want, I can send some material your way :)

PBR pounders should not be $5, hell nothing in a can outside of a Surly should be.
