My truck got the 4.56's today... :D

that's so sweet. I wish I could put some cash into my truck. I'm just having a tough time keeping it running.

Sean, about those fancy toto's. Are they all pretty much the same? They have 3 flushing styles. I think the cyclone one looks pretty... lol

I have been looking at getting a new john anyway as mine is short and seams to clog, which flusher is the best?

The double cyclone with the sanagloss finish is supposed to pretty much be the best flushing toilet you can get.

The Ultramax I don't think you could possible clog either though.

I actually bought an Aquia which is a dual-flush, but it is for the water closet between the Kitchen and Living Room but normally where I decide to try and break the septic. It will be a couple weeks before I have it installed and I can give you an update. For a low water usage toilet though it is supposed to work really well 0.9gal pee frush and a 1.6gal dukey-stick frush.

I wasn't as concerned about the water usage, but saving 3000-5000gal a year isn't a bad thing either.

Noice.

fooking A right. I want a full review, better eat a lot of cheese and non soluable fibre!

:fing34:

Ours is a low water use too. the Dual flush works where when you pee it uses less water by pressing a different button? That's pretty much kick ass.

What's the street price? I saw them on their website and was floored at the thought of having a 1k crapper.

Basically bought all my fixtures from there, WAY cheaper than here.

IIRC the Brass Rail in Edina sells the Toto's but they are about $100 more

This is the one I wanted. Used it in my hotel in Japan, but then I found out the price.

Nice!

Looks like it could fly away on me and take a stool sample to the mother ship, maybe let me know if I need should have less sodium or more b vitamins too!

Which one did you end up with? I found that website right after you mentioned the brand name. Just wondered if you found one local.

great minds google alike I supose.

I bought the Aquia II from Faucetdirect.

It is going to be the toilet guests use most so having easy to clean sides and shape was important too me. I am also a fan of contemporary design as long as it isn't uber contemporary.

Almost convinced myself the Neorest was worth it, but $2400 bones without the bidet sort of was impossible to get beyond. If it was the only house project that I had I would have done it.

*plus, I am not so sure I want my drunk friends pissing on the bidet spout. It does retract, but still gross. Perhaps when I redo the master bath :)

Long post.

It could be summed up too, that all the old painters I work with will use oil based if they want it to last.

Ah for a bathroom I guess that makes sense. The bathroom I am doing right now is just a water closet though so no real moisture without a shower or bath.

I doubt it would be needed then really Sean. Unless you had some powerfull thai food and your really breaking a sweat in there. :fing34: Oil is a pain to work with. I'm at work right now with white hands and arms because I forgot that I needed more mineral spirits. We have 3 adults and one bathroom.... That shower gets plenty of OT.

When I repaint my exterior, I will oil prime that too. I'm usually an over kill guy if there is a chance of a problem.

My friends call me Captain Overboard sometimes so I understand the overkill :)

Just Sometimes??? :P

i know, right? :D

Ammo prices are re-god-damn-diculous right now. I'd love to find some cheap .380 and .45, but I know that isn't going to happen anytime soon.

holy crap you're right, everything is out of stock. i was checking the sites i normally use and they're all cleaned out. i was hoping i could link you some suggestions but, wow! a month ago i got a 500rd bulk pack of fiocchi .45acp for less than $180, now even wolf is more than that. ammunitiontogo.com doesn't even have .45acp in any quantity or bullet style, let alone 230 fmjs for plinking. :o
