laminate, Stone tile, or stone slab countertops.........

:suicide-santa:

I would never ever settle for anything less than stone for a kitchen. Any other room though, toss a coin

if you do tile then won't you end up scrubbing grout all the time? go for the granite slab :)

there's no such thing as "medical marijuana". None has been approved by the FDA, the safety may have been established but efficacy is far from established. People use that term because they don't want to admit that they want to get high. And your "legal medicine" is illegal, you just happen to be in a state that won't prosecute you for it.

But if you truly believe it's a legal medicine what dosage are you on?

i know it's mostly bullshit rhetoric but i will say that pot's an effective painkiller/sleep aid and that most synthetic pain killers don't sit well with me. i also know i'm breaking federal law but the feds can't waste their time popping each "patient" in california. i'm all for the legalization, regulation and taxation of marijuana instead of sinking tax dollars into fighting its illegal trade. i think marijuana control is about as futile and even more of a waste of money than gun control.

so until it is legalized, i'll hide behind my state's rhetorical shroud and continue to use my "medication," i'm sorry it's discrediting to the field of medicine.

Hooray for states > feds.

This is true, and I don't like the idea of grout scrubbing.... That's why I like mica etc. Cheep easy to clean and care for, and if I don't like it... I can change it up. It's probably 10% of the cost of slab...;.

I have a test tomorrow in my Elements of Intercultural Communication class

the class is so unbelievably dumb, I can hardly bring myself to study at all

Are the questions like "How would you say hello to an aborigine?" Answer- Good'day.

heh, not quite that easy

the essays involve no interpretation or analysis, it's basically just definitions and you have to use the words in her notes, even if you use synonyms you get marked down

It's not discrediting to the field of medicine, anyone in the field of medicine can easily tell the difference. Chewing on a coca leaf doesn't make it "medicinal coca". Just a pet peeve of mine.

and hide behind the shroud while you can, like it or not a change will come soon enough and it'll either spread or it'll be taken down. Hopefully the former.

When I buy a house I am going to put one of the crappers like they have at the college here in it, I don't think its possible to clog those things.

What is with the ca.com topic ? Original rules included something like never mentioning that place.

And as a wtf reaction, somebody's first post was asking about why is ca.com down...

I think my psoriasis is getting much much worse. My hands are beging to be all effed up, and my joints are being insane.

I think this is my clear sign that I need to loose this amazing amount of fat I'm carrying around and find a new job too.

a car audio place, and if I mention my trucks having issues, I get some good advice where to start, gleened some good tips on BBQ.

doesn't get any better than this.

Also some skilled welders, coffee nuts, gun collectors, and photography people. ;)

Curious, how old are you?

27 on the 28th of this month.

I'm way too young to feel as horrible as I do. Last years medical issues, and my weight gain since this job stole years off my life I'm sure.

I am starting to second guess how long I might have had issues that were just mostly dormant. With most of what I'm dealing with, untill the symptoms became a daily annoyance I thought I was fine.

It's weird, since I had my gastro/urinary issue, everything went to hell super fast.
