Ignition has to have constant, as do lights.

Kent, I see no marks in the grass, so I take it you hit that thing balls to the wall?

And a big thanks and screw you to Cadillac engineers for not putting a 12v constant in the passenger cabin of their cars...

No cig lighter?

Cig lighter and interior lights all have power shut off to them after ~20min or something.

I just ran power and ground straight to the battery to get rid of my trying to find a damn wire...

On the upside, you can't run the battery down by leaving something on.

Could've picked it from the ignition or headlight circuit.

Probably better off the way you did it though; less chance for interference.

Could've picked it from the ignition or headlight circuit.

Problem is I'm not entirely sure where those circuits are. There is a fuse box in the engine bay, and one on the back side of the back seat, none in the cabin if I remember correctly. Cadillacs are a pain in the ass to work on...

Reminds me, need to order a new fuel pressure regulator.

I knew how to run to the battery and already had a spot in the firewall where I ran power to the amps. :)

Sat down and made a list of vehicles to check out. I'm starting out my list with only a few criteria: available in the US, not FWD, no gigantor SUVs, no Vans, and <20 years old. So far (stuff in parentheses indicates personal preference):

BMW 3 Series (1999-2005)

BMW 5 Series (1996-2003)

Cadillac CTS

Infiniti G35 (2003-2007)

Lexus IS

Lincoln Mark VIII

Toyota 4Runner

Toyota Tacoma (2001-Present)

Whittled. Although I'd throw out the boring rice stuff too really.

Why did you leave out the Audi's?

So apparently according to some of the woman's friends, dating me makes her a Cougar... Shes 24 and I'm 21, I fail to see a problem with this.

I was dating a 24 year old when I was 15 so don't worry about it.

That's wild. But I have to wonder what kind of a girl would do that?

One that had no idea how old I was. Actually started seeing her when I was 14, but didn't hit gold until 15.

Just turn the clock off. The 880 holds presets without power, but alas no clock.

*hates clocks in cars anyways

And it is a Cadillac (ie GM) tap into that and the thing might self destruct. :P

Do you guys know of anything that Australia has that we can't get in the states that isn't illegal or odd to carry on an airplane?

Just curious because I have a friend that is doing foreign exchange in Australia
