Thinking of just making my own damn front motor mount, the factory ones will fail within a year with hard driving, and a custom solid front mount is 130$...

Of course Cadillac in their infinite wisdom decided to put a psuedo fluid filled front motor mount in there for damping of vibrations or something along those lines... Of course when you drive it hard 300ft*lbs of torque will just eat it alive.

Dealership had no idea what I was talking about when I asked for their price of a motor mount...

Parts dept. can go screw themselves.

I'll build my own damn solid one, from what I understand vibrations will be very minimal if even noticeable.

About 150$ or so for a GM one that WILL break in under 20kmiles with my driving, 130-150$ for a new custom solid mount, or a couple hours of my time to make one. Hmm....

I only call the dealership in extreme cases. Their prices are ridiculous (except plastic bits) :(

I loved the cayenne I test drove. The night we drove the E55 we had an appointment to test some cayennes. The wife and I just canceled, as it was getting to be silly being dissapointed every time.

Speaking of parts...I got quoted ~$180 for one Bilstein shock for the heep. Same shock is $60-$65 in the us. I wonder where I'm going to order from...

Need someone to order it and gift it to you? :)

So far I'm waiting for some emails about international shipping. Found them in 2 places, summitracing says they ship overseas (in their ebay auctions). Fingers crossed that shockwarehouse.com ships.

Out of curiosisty whats the advantage in that?

No help to declare as gift :(

Only thing that helps is the value declaration. Under $200, I pay only a 2.5% tax. Over $200, vat (19%) applies.

The air suspension rules, but I definitely want that shit CPO'd. Makes the ride height not look so friggin ghey.

I really like this one and it is within my lease parameters for work.

Same color as my bassboat too, that would be sick towing it with the Turbo :)

I think that is a bad ass car, and would be awesome for the kid as well. Replaces your truck, looks fun to drive, and then you can dream project car :)

I also think you need to pump it up to the Turbo S engine... ya know, for towing purposes

Either one though has some hella torque

I didn't drive the Turbo, but the Turbo S had to keep itself in check via the traction computer like crazy so I am thinking that going down to only 450hp would be okay. The Turbo S is a $20k adder and puts it way out of range. The Turbo itself will be a stretch, but if that deal is as they state it is I might just pull it off.

Be a hell of a redneck garage having two sport ute's. lol.

If all goes well the Audi A6, M5, and Silverado will turn into a Volvo XC90 for the wife & son and a Cayenne Turbo for me. I think I can live with that. :)
