I think I'll have to stick with the other design with the super tweet. I/ someone will be building a entertainment center for them soon and the speaker towers will start 20" off the ground, which kind of rules out tall boxes

Ugh, I want to start building that entertainment center sooooo bad but I don't have the time. I hardly have enough time to work on my own vehicles

Why do you have to start the 'peekas 20" off the ground? Any reason in particular for putting them on the entertainment center?

all this reminds me... I want to get my pops an 18V Sawzall (sp?) for his birthday, but I'm unsure of what brand to go with. I figure if I get something real nice it may just force him to get his other 18V tools in that same brand so he can have multiple batteries lol

downsized_0116092142.jpg

Here is what I drew up. All the speaker there are the blose that they have now. I'm not sure how accurate the dimensions are and I'm not sure how "wide" of enclosures I could fit beside the TV. By the way the 3 line shelves are for cds, the 2 line for DVDs

I already see much better ideas that look completely different coming out of this

BTW the top drawing is the dimensions I have to work with

Also, it sits in the corner of the living room

here is what the corner looks like. The big projector tv doesn't work anymore and at the moment a 50" flat screen sits on top of it

Bah, small spaces don't mean good things for fun full range enclosures... :P

A 2-way bookshelf with a good 6.5" or so driver would probably work pretty well. The Zaph ZMV5 looks like it might work there well, design is already done so theres half the battle.
