Taking the Cobra in on Tuesday so they can value it as a trade and checking on insurance costs.

very nice

so the guy who was buyin the cobra fell through i guess

what kind of audi is it? i love the headlights with the LEDs

S3 sportsback...

I didn't think they brought the S3 to the US. What engine does it have in Europe?

2.0 turbo. 265hp fing05.gif

The lowest S-series here is the S4 and it has the 340HP 4.2

I saw / heard an RS4 with the N/A V8 at one show...I fell in love with the sound of that machine

The 4.2 does sound great.

Ribs for dinner :slayer:

I sorta had the same although mine had a lot of meat still attached to the bone. Slapped a prime rib on the rotis for the first use of the rotis. Turned out unbelievable

I'm going to try to get the Q in the truck today....

I really hope I can find a tool to take out those torques. But what fuse should I use for the 1500? And is there ANY way to make sure I don't clip at my amp without a scope?

I'm going to set the gains a good deal under the saz 1500, but the 880 is pretty high voltage and I would really hate to blow my Q

mmmkk. Sean, where in the world did you run power wire on your truck?

There was a nice pre-grommeted hole in the dash right above the gas pedal. No drilling and I didn't even need a grommet :)

That needs loom on the underside otherwise you should expect problems. Just so you know NBS trucks have a nifty little hole pre-drilled by GM and a groove in the rubber footboard to run the 1/0. This with carpet is 100% completely unnoticeable.

No promises on everyone else looking like this, but my 2002 does and took me just a couple of minutes to run. I ran it over the deadening and the ensolite in case I ever want to alter it. GM was nice enough to just use that black tar stuff to seal the hole which I reused to hold the grommet in place and seal everything up. The door grooves are sweet for the speaker wire as well.

Found this on FSC and all I can say is... You're a fuckin Liar!!! :P

I think what you don't see is that it is closer to the gas pedal. Mine is an 02.

I seriously don't think I was blessed with this grommet of 1/0 Bliss

And my truck is a damn 02 Z71 just like Sean's :wtf:

It has a bunch of that reusable acoustic barrier flex goop covering the hole making it hard to see. Sort of like black, sticky, silly putty.

The Cadillac likes the 91 octane fuel too, I only get ~21.5mpg on the highway with 87, but ~24.5mpg with 91.

Something is wrong with your foot then. Lower octane should always yield better mileage and more power provided the vehicle can run on it. It may just be that is was designed/programmed to run on premium and you're now learning that. Higher octane gasoline has less energy and is harder to burn as well.

I get better mileage on Premium fuel as well. Reason is that they use 10% ethanol in all 87 octane fuels here, but none in the 91/92 octane premium fuels.

I'll have to be careful when I get the bike, I've heard that carbs and 10% ethanol don't exactly get along very well if it's been jetted to normal specs, and more and more places around here are going to that stuff, unfortunately :(

Actually, from what I've read Premium has slightly more energy content, but is more stable.

But yes, if your vehicle was designed to run on regular it should do as good or better on regular.

Only more energy content if your engine has more compression to extract it.

I am a closet drinker tonight! :P

Penguin, did you say you went to BBQ galore on FM1960?

Yes, wonderful store, friendly staff. If only I had the money...:droolcup::droolcup:

Drove by the store 2 days ago. Really wanted to stop. That damn road has a lot of stuff including a couple good looking sushi restaurants

I basically bought the biggest gas grill and nicest Komodo they sell, although both were WAY cheaper elsewhere.

I can squeeze into one. You have a few inches on me, if it's all in the legs, maybe not. The cayman would be in my driveway if they made a model where the seats can go back another inch or so.... that thing is amazing.

I test drove a 911 s rwd and the 911 4. I almost took a 911 turbo for a whirl.

RWD > the 4 the 4 was however the most awesome 4 I have ever been in save this one completely tricked out subaru. But it looked like a fag wagon, and was all riced up.

Search Ramos' posts. Because I know we've run into that problem at Dave's, Matt's Q took a weird cut-out diameter compared to a typical 12-spoke :)
