saw a honda 599 (hornet) yesterday. I must say i REALLY liked the bike.

For a new-ish bike, I like those :) Looks a lot like a Triumph Speed Triple to me, I bet the parts cost is a whole lot more attractive though :)

damn audio!

what do you do for work?

I'm working construction (carpentry and masonry) for the family and I work at FedEx.

I don't get much sleep so I wont be on as much till the house is done (we are flipping a house that had a crumbling foundation)

Damn, pretty sure I missed a pristine CB350...

This checking-four-Craigslists-at-a-time shit gets annoying. Why is it only when you're not looking does the good stuff get posted, when you're religiously checking them every day it's the same old shit :(

craigshelper.com is your friend.

*just starting to try and catch up :)

do hills and curves affect gas mileage a lot? I figured I should be getting more than 19.5 mpg when I go 55 mph on this road, but it's very hilly and curvy. If it's not one it's the other, which is also a reason I like to take it. It's fun. Fortunately the hills aren't so big and my Explorer only downshifts 1-2 times during the 20 minute drive. I've gotten upwards of 24 when I've gone on long trips going 65 out in relatively flat western Kansas, so I figured I should be getting that when I go 55 on this road. But I do have a couple blocks in town at each end of the drive.

curves... i dunno, but hills definitely do

you'll get the best mpg with constant throttle input (flat areas)

actually best would be going down a really, really, really steep hill

Greased Lightning works VERY well on grills.....just make sure you wash it well afterwards

oh hell yes

Greased Lightning & Simple Green ftmfw :drink40: :drink40: :drink40: :drink40:

Not sure what greased lightning is, but Bar Keepers Friend works really well on stainless (imagine that)

OK maybe some of you texans can chime in.

I really want a smoker and a grill.

I'm torn though. Water smoker sounds the way to go but the time will be about 2-3 times as long as normal smoking from what I understand, which isn't that big of a deal, but still matters.

I'm up in MN too and I liek to grill in the winter, and I want a more heavy duty unit.

BGE. If you want to smoke it rocks, if you want to grill it is nice. My preference is a komodo style and a gas grill, you sort of need both as laziness does set in and convenience follows it around.

Ramos...the REAL stuff or the American-ized shit?

The real deal . I was shown three bottle's at the liquor store yesterday.

Deva 70

Taboo 73

La Blanche versinthe

Yeah....... ranging from $60-$95- $400 a bottle

:)

the for really real deal!??!!!! I thought it was federal nono.

ahh... how do you feel about shipping to MN? It just became ok to buy it here, but I thought the wormwood was still a no no.

It will be available in Cheeseland probably though.

My evening is going to be teh suck, but still pretty awesome.

My gramps is offering to sell me his super industrial shopsmith from a million years ago and the rest of his mint condition tools. The sad thing is it's because he's moving into assisted living with my grandma. I think he's kind of planning on making her comfortable for how ever much time she has left...

I am glad to be of what ever little help I can and to keep this stuff in the family, but not for these reasons....

=/

teh suck.

Buy it. If you don't want it, I am close :)

It's weird, a lot of us having some trying times with our grandparents lately, all of you guys seemed to have a better relationship with them than I do with mine...:(

Mine, as of earlier this year, are all gone. :(

Mine have been gone since 1990. :(

Gonna go find Dinkytown later tonight at the U of M campus area to tour the area where Bob Dylan got his start.

He got his start on the family farm in Buffalo. One of my friends parents still own it.

Fuck me, I just dropped 97$ on a god damn bar tab.

Sounds like a normal weekend night. Hell when I lived in Chicago, $300 for the weekend sometimes didn't cut it.

90 some dollars is a weak bar tab if you go out with me,matt, and Ramos......

Yea, I'm not even 21...

I didn't realize, in MN you aren't allowed in liquor stores when you aren't of age. Normally they card everyone and we didn't go where I 'normally' would have gone.

Wow, I stop in and no one is here :(

I've definitely had my share of German beers! Just got back from the local brewhaus :)

Lucky SOB

Gotta love 2 Euro beers, of course it would be better if the damn exchange rape was different. Either way in 10 days, I am sure I drank at least 120 beers, and some nice Rieslings, and some shots. "Typical" business trip.
