...got pulled over twice in Kansas, no tickets though :)

...a semi a couple hundred feet ahead of me had a tire blow and I got to dodge rubber chunks

...and coming into Denver, this stupid bitch just about side-swiped me

Holy crap, speeding, and speeding?

apparently I got a little too close to the line so he had to check to make sure I wasn't drunk

and 76 in a 70

Wow, lame. Teh cops must have been bored.

I thought I was going to start my new job next monday but because of some technicality that I don't know, I can't start until the 30th. But I gave my two weeks notice last monday, so my last day at my current job is this friday. So that means.....one week vacation! I got a coupon in the mail from Harrah's Casino for two free nights so I think I'm going to take advantage of that. Then probably go back to my hometown for a few days and help my dad fix up the house he just bought for his father-in-law for retirement. I think he said it needs some new flooring and maybe paint.

about a month or so ago i was headed back from visiting the rents, in a 55mph zone. I had my cruise set from when i was in the 65mph zone but completely forgot. I pass a cop(sitting in the median) doing 80mph.

i don't throw on the brakes or anything, but after about 1/4 mile slow down and get ready for it, checking the rear view mirror.... windy road, don't see him behind me.

keep waiting....keep waiting...

never saw him....i guess he was feeling generous or he was asleep, took about an hour for my heart to come back down to normal.

Sold my old boat today. When it rains it pours, been for sale for three weeks but had three offers today. The last two kept trying to up the price at the end they were $200 over what I was asking. I still kept my word and sold it to the first guy though. Too bad as it could have paid for dinner. 4 of us, sushi and $340 later...at the cheapest place in town.

Mmmm...I always like a stout drunkenness, nothing quite like it...

Finishing off the rest of this microbrew...

I think it's hilarious that the holding company behind Beck's/Stella Artois is looking into becoming the majority in An-Busch. The Great American Lager, huh.

Hey guys, I got myself into a spot and need cash fast. By this Sunday to be exact. Just yesterday i left a guy a deposit on 2 motorcycles with titles and enough spare parts to build a third if i wanted. The only problem is i'm about $800 shy of what i need to pay him off and the only way i'm going to be able to get it is sell off some of my car audio gear. Which brings me to the point. I'm only a member of this forum. It's the best right? But since i'm only a member of this forum i can't get the word out to others that may be interested in the equipment on the other forums and i'm hoping one of you could do that for me. Here are the links to the items i put up on eBay so far...

Kicker Kx1200.1 Amp

Fi Audio 15" Q with BP power option and dual 2 ohm voice coils

Whatever you can do for me i'd really appreciate it. Thanks, Bob!

The first time I ever went to Jersey, I had some mixed reactions to the high speeds (I was 18 and had 3 tickets in the previous year). I was following a friend who had his cruise set to 90mph. We were with the flow of traffic, and every time we passed a cop my heart dropped.

The next year I went down following another friend (he was driving a 2005 Roush Stage 1 Mustang Convertible) We come up behind an m3 and ls1 Camaro. (I'm the slow one sitting in a turbo slush-box neon) So we all line up in the left lane and proceed through the entire state of NJ @ 105mph (with bursts higher) Around Atlantic City we passed a cop, his lights went on and he burnt out of his little spot. He was closing fast on my rear bumper. Caught up and turned his lights off. Another two cop cars show up and pass the group of us and get in front of the m3 and Camaro, slow us all down to 90 mph, turn their lights off and left. I thought I :bull: in my seat I was so freaked.

Ha, Hays. That's my hometown. And I had guessed that at least one of the tickets was west of there. Can't speed in western Kansas. That's all the cops have to do and they need the money from the tickets.

I speed like hell in Western KS, the cops are dumb and easy to spot. I wouldn't have expected a 76 in a 70 though, that is ridiculous.
