i am glad that we have people to defend our freedom, but they are usually douchebags. No offense meant to jordan, and anyone else that may serve here, as he is an exception, but 90% of the soldiers i meet i just end up making fun of.

The one i always love to pull is that he can be as buff as he wants, he can be trained in all kinds of stupid shit that he'll never use, but when he gets shipped over seas it's me that his gf will be calling, not him.

on a positive note, as soon as i get the alt fixed it's going to the garage to get the exhaust finished and the alignment done, as well as an inspection sticker...w00t w00t

picked up a pair of the E8s, i think they'll be doing temporary midbass/subbass duty in the fiero doors. got the L3s for midrange and i just have to pick out some tweets and decide on a location

I hear you there, they look very promising. I will probably pick up a few to expand my sub-collection

and having one hell of a time finding another old belle, may have to change my plans and go with different amps.

looks like i'll be needing...

2x200W @ 4ohm (for 8s, s0 400@2ohm will work too)

2x75W @ 4ohm for mids

2x50W @ 4ohm for tweets (probably 6-8ohm tweets though)

would like some extra for subs if i use any, and don't have much room for amps either.

i also may mount the amps in the front or in the trunk just to keep them out of the way

i'm not very pleased with my sub collection...it's a 15" Q....been carrying it in my trunk in a big mdf box.

is it wrong that i don't really miss having a sub?

for multi channel, i'm grabbing a zapco 650.6

My sub collection is a 12" type E, 12w0, 10" Diamond D1 and a sd1-12

Seems like everyone importing deep cycle's here wants an arm and a leg for one :(

Can't fit in the jeep one of the beasts my friend has (135Ah, 3500CCA) which is the only battery I can find here that won't cost you over $400.

Training 40 football players this morning. Should be interesting. These kids will already be bitching for having to get out of bed for 8:30AM but shit are they ever going to be swearing by the end of it.

Putting the engine in the Firebird on Friday.

His plans changed. 383 stroker (poncho 350 not Chevy) with a crapload of compression running on E85. The thing should really rip with that and the TKO. Builder estimates 475+hp. :D

sean and whoever else

me and mike were discussing today about the inline filter things like so

http://www.trutechnology.com/products/line...r/ssld6_08.html

and i think i recall correctly u called them some bs lol

well the guys on the max forum

say that this thing will help alot in the whine problem but at the tune of about 275

then me and mike were like how much would it help to run 1/0 from the neg terminal of the battery back to the amps?

instead of goin into the frame

this would be alot cheaper too

That isn't made for whine, look at the specs it says Unity Gain not filtered gain or anything else. If you have whine that will amplify it just like your amps. If you only have whine at high volume levels on your headunit it will allow you to get more voltage out of your pre-outs earlier on the volume knob so it "could" reduce your whine a little bit, but it is not at all the right way to do it. On top of that Line Drivers IMO are really a waste of money anyways. All they do is raise the voltage from your headunit to a higher level so that you don't have the gain turned up as high on your amplifier to get the same output. They don't allow you to turn your amp up further and get more output, just have them do the same thing at a lower level of gain. So the real question is why the hell would you waste money on one?

Glad to hear I am not counted in that 90%

The only issue here is for me, alot of my training has come in handy in the occasional fight, but I want more. I will say this tho women like the gf u describe are a large part of the reason why we come back so incredibally pissed off.

I think you have met the wrong group Vladd. I would say that it's similar how pit bulls got a bad wrap. As the saying goes the squeeky wheele gets the grease. That is because you notice it. I would say that 98% of the guys comming home no one notices, and the ones who have had real combat, the real up front, usualy don't talk about it. Not a word.
