To lose ~80lb...

I do believe that I still have my pretty A/C delete in the garage... You pull the box & fan and replace it with this NON-A/C box.

If you pull the heater core, swap heater boxes & the compressor & line, you can shed ~80 lbs IIRC.

100lbs lost = 0.1 seconds supposedly in the 1/4

i actually tried to talk him and a friend (redoing a 70 somthing nova hatchback) into doing a 502....neither would listen :crying:

my broinlaw also has a motor/trannyless camaro (82 IIRC) that i thought would be a great candidate for something similiar..he's trying to sell it...

the vette guy is asking $6800 on a car worth at the most $3800, and i wouldn't pay that..it needs paint and interior work. also, it has a hard time starting..either an injector or timing is screwed, but just at startup...btw, being a 1987, it's the first year of tpi...
