subframe connectors?

ie, compensators. Making up for the lack of structural engineering.

And as far as potential, there's a guy in Nebraska whose '03 Silverado runs low 10s and is putting out 1050hp, 1030 ft*lbs with turbocharged 408 LS (I believe that's the combo, only info I could find on it). And it's totally reliable and drivable as well.

EDIT: oh wait, it's a twin turbo http://www.diyautotune.com/cars/customer/p...turbo_truck.htm

OMG yes I love that truck. Have had some videos of it saved on my comp for a couple years now. I'd love to do that one day, but realistically for now the most I'll probably see is a SC

I've been looking at Parish's truck for a couple years now and I never realized he was in Nebraska. Badass truck for sure, I know he was looking for 9's, did he ever get there?

Drop the 6.0L in your truck, that engine is badass. :)

Boss called me up this morning, wanted to make sure I was coming into work today because we had some things that we had to talk about. His daughter in law had a heart attack monday and they weren't sure if she was going to make it. I have a feeling it is about that, and that I may get control of the shop sooner than I though. Nice thought but I didn't want it under these circumstances.

I guess I'll know more in a little bit.

I tried to get a 2500 instead of a 1500 when buying my truck to get the 6.0L but I couldn't justify driving a "new" vehicle that got the same mileage as my current one

I disagree. Kansas. Not only is kansas evil and the state and I hate burning strong for each other, but it's terribly boring

:wtf: umm try Arkansas and Kansas for starters. I haven't been that many places but those were surely more boring to drive through. Took the Kansas route on the way to Colorado and the New Mexico route on the way back. Much better scenery in New Mexico.

East Texas is pretty much driving straight if your on I10, if you drive curvy county roads through the woods it is great. Central and Midwest Texas is the Hill Country, and there's 80 MPH speed limits in West Texas... You have to be going 105 before you get a ticket that won't allow you to take Defensive Driving to waive it.

Thanks man. :)

Thankfully everything is going alright, it appears she will be alright so its all somewhat back to normal. The boss isn't going to be around much for the next week but it's all good.

On a brigher note we are working on a stand for a chop saw that I'll get some pictures of, we got a bit bored with the leg design and I think it looks cool as hell.
