You would be pretty damn down if you had 4 flat tires. The hood/gamer speak comes out when I get all excited thinking about visiting magnepan.... Sorry.

I live in down town St Paul at the moment.

Got me some directions.... lol

WBL is north, do you know maplwood? It's out that way, next to Hugo if you are familiar with that.

St.Paul?

I think I remember you saying by the cathedral right?

Isn't that somewhat close to the Science Museum?

I had a liquer last night called Amber. It was a maple flavored scotch liquer. Amazing. Sweet as sin, normaly not my thing, but this was great.

It was at the bottom of a white russian. It was a house drink at the cosmos room.

I went there for drinks after eating at the 7 sushi ultra lounge, or what ever it's called all you can eat miso night. I really liked 7's sushi. It was not AMAZING by any means, but it was verry good. Especialy for when you consider MN is not near any ocean, and they had some high quality sushi that was endless for 30 dollars. They limit what they bring to yrou table each time they come, but it was nice and slow that night so the server was on point the whole time. Pretty damn nice. Presentation was beautiful, and the chef made some nice creations. The nigiri was smaller than I'm used to and had less sashimi on top, but again.. all you can eat.. thank you, yes please. They style was a little "veags". It could use some more art. I was sitting with my friend in a area where it was couches not chairs and for us it was perfect to relax look out at the rain and game works. I will go again definately as sushi is something I can't do at home and 30 dollars is a drop in the bucket compaired to most places even on 1/2 price night.

Of course MN may be far from the Ocean, but 99% of sushi served anywhere in the US is flown in anyways. We just happen to be in a spot with a really good fish importer.

Probably. Jim has pretty much retired, but I think I could get you through the gates. Calling it a plant is a joke though, more like a pole shed. :D

I made it to his last show at First Ave. It was awesome. The DVD that comes with the deluxe edition of the CD is all from the last two shows at first ave.

Hopefully I can make it so Soundset 08 at the Metrodome

Don't bother, the acoustics at the Metrodome are terrible. As in perhaps the worst venue in the country.

Jim Winey invented the technology at 3M and for once 3M didn't want the patent so he left. Been making stellar speakers ever since.

*oh, I exaggerated on the pole building. It is a pretty normal shop with a cement floor and an office up front.

so, 2002 Z71? 5.3, I assume?

If so, it's based on LS architecture and will respond well to all the normal mods

Are there any other "normal mods" the LS engines like? Truck is a DD so tearing into it too far is not an option.

:D , I can't wait to hear how it sounds

CAI, long-tube headers, cat-back, and a tune will be a very good start

from there.... the sky's the limit

I luv the sky

On the topic of acoustics, when I was at the Ryman theater, they said that it has like the 2nd best acoustics in the world, is this true?

probably also toss in a 160* thermostat. LS series motors respond very well to nitrous... but it's not necessary.

Todd your geographical knowledge of the city you live in is amusing. White Bear Lake is N. of St Paul and is the biggest Metro lake outside of Tonka. Named WBL by the natives. It is barely out of the loop. (x94)

Never seen a list. The McKnight Ordway in MN is near the top as well though.l

Just a few mods and the truck will have a serious traction problems in 2wd although 4wd in mine seems to really rob the powa.

Probably not as rough as you see up there, but it was pretty rough for here. The wind was blowing 35-40mph causing 2-3 foot chop in the main channel . It handled it well. We were able to run 65 through it :)
