I've given up trying to explain to my roommate how he is going to need to spend a little bit of money (example, not go tie shopping at a garage sale) on dress clothes if he is going to get them. He just floors me sometimes.

I don't think that he owns a nice shirt that doesn't have a plaid pattern on it though...

So who wants to join me in opening a custom fab shop doing everything from furniture to audio?

**raises hand**

only if we can do cars too

i'm game. where we gonna be located??

wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee :slayer:

If I was getting out I'd say Long island...............lots of people there with too much $$$ and nowhere good to waste it.

J

I was thinking around Anna, IL. thats where my boss's son is (Todd Suhling), and close to Kent, lord knows Todd has tools if we don't have something, plus he has a hell of a lot of cool toys.

close?? lmao, same damn town. Todd Suhling is his name? he actually lives in jonesboro. which is attached to anna, but nonetheless, about 3 miles or so from where i live.

did he happen to build a funny truck? a s-10 bodied funny car? <<< over 2500hp iirc and have another little brown s-10 he called mighty mite? <<<< 750hp and street legal that name surely sounds right.

i'm out for a few

wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee :slayer:

Yep, he also has a 700hp 67 firebird that is his play toy. Yea, he built Tiny Mite and Mighty Mite. I think that shit colored S-10 is the same one he started racing in highschool, his dad has some stories. :)

i've not seen the chicken, but have seen the two trucks. i've talked to Todd a time or two. he's supposed to have a shop of all shops. pretty much build anything you want. he is, or was, a partner to a fellower named rodney wright, adn they did a bunch of scrapping for money. well, that and auto repair.

small fucking world.

wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee :slayer:

He does A LOT of scrapping, think tug boat engines, for A LOT of money, but he is on the road alllll the time. He puts 180,000mi a year on the road (90,000mi per truck) on a brand new fully loaded 1ton chevy with the 8.1L, two trucks a year. The city is giving him land to build like 5 more buildings or something like that up there, hes got to many toys.

The fire chicken of his use to have ~1200hp, but he had troubles getting out of his gravel driveway with it so he tuned it down to around 700hp. Its a former race engine out of his trucks, from what I understand if you stomp it at 80mph it'll put you sideways.

the mains from a line boat, or tug as you put it, are the same as a trains main. some as little as 8 cylinders and 500hp, others as large as 16 cylinder and 4khp. and yep, him and rodney scrap out alot of them.

jonesboro giving away land?? lol. well, then again, with our county goverment, enough money will get ya jsut about anything.

so did the chicken motor come out of teh funny truck? i heard he had gotten rid of it, sunk a crap ton of money into building it. the brown truck never did over 750hp as i recall. like 750 isn't enough, lol.

To my knowledge he still has the funny car/truck. Yes, he has about a 1/4mil in it to my knowledge. Also, as far as I know he has multiple race engines sitting in his shop unused and I think the fire chicken engine came from one of those. As far as I know with his M.S. he can't race in regular races anymore so the only thing he uses the funny truck for is exhibition races. But I don't know if he still does that.

Of that 1/4mil I think about 90,000 went into the engine. He runs a 2spd transmission in a TH350 case also.

Insured the 300C today.

31 MPG @ 70 mph. Works for me.

Also found out today that the board of governors approved my proposal. Looks like I get to order half a million in fitness equipment.

awesome, congrats Steve

and you got 31 with the 5.7? DoD?
