Minature red neck rally starts in a couple weeks. Think I'm gonna race 1/8th scale buggies this year . Put a new motor in the monster last night , and that bastage is ready to roll :)

What motor?

I highly modded rb ws7III . going to run outlaw buggy :)

Now of course, I am curious as to what chassis. Either way that thing is going to rip. :)

Factory team RC8 that I have replaced all the carbon fiber with aluminium . Seems counter productive , but races get kind of rough on occasion at our track. After snapping two cf front shock towers in the same day , aluminium versions were bought. I raced unlimited monster truck with my revo the last three years, but the class at the local track is dieing out it seems. So I decided to jump up to 1/8th scale :)

while i have no clue as to what you're talking about, save it's rc vehicles, sounds badass. any vids? i love listening to those things run.

Any idea what motor(s) you heard running ? I ask cause the two main different categories, small blocks (.18 smaller ) and big blocks (.21 and larger) have their own different sound

A small block sounds like an indy car, very high pitched and whiny even at idle, during acceleration at high speeds very much indy car like. the big blocks at idle have a deeper almost lawnmowerish throaty sound to them, and sound like go carts during acceleration. But I love the sound of them too :D

definitely a big block. was like a supercharged chainsaw, lol. freakin thing looked like it could damn near fly, was a street car thing. sumbitch moved faster then my eyes could follow it, and i'd testify to that.

wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee :slayer:

They probably think the same thing about us.

I'm sure that's exactly what you wanted to here right now. lol.

Oh I have no doubts on that one. I at least use some shred of logic when I argue, there is no logic at all in his arguments. I have a more enjoyable time arguing with fricking WOMEN!

Indeed.

you also could've put a verticle wood brace underneath that is thickest at the center and tapers towards the ends

shape optimization FTW

Then I would have had a brace that stuck down about 3" at the center where my knees are going to go most, instead I have one that sticks down 1" and provides more support than I could have gotten otherwise ;)

I didn't say it was always the most logical....

My friend today, sent me a link to LS1tech.com, where they was talking about the new ZR1 vette.

Maybe its just me, but a 6.2l supercharged should put out more power than that.

Im just happy to see them have a S/C now, so they can't complain about stangs having one.

Keep in mind they have to put a warranty on this beast as well.

I don't want to see a forced induction Corvette, I'd much rather see a N/A engine kept.

Have you ever driven a supercharged car?? And I don't mean one of those non-GNX GM things with the 3.8 either. A real supercharged V8 is a helluvalotoffun

Thats not the point. Its a $100,000 dollar car, if I had that kinda money to spend, warranty would be the least of worries.

Im just not impressed.

Maybe that's all the power it needs. Who knows.

<--pretty much hates GM

but your arguments are lame :(

I have played in a supercharged car, but I do love me N/A. A friend that I went to HS with has a procharged '00 GT, 400/400 to the wheels, intake/exhaust, 4.10's, Nitto's, and a short throw. Damn fun car. :)
