It's really annoying when you need a bolt and GM doesn't make it anymore and it's so odd that no one else does either

You need better stores, what exactly do you need?

tom, the fiero uses something like that ifyou can find one in the local junkyards. the b-pillar attachment has a long ass shoulder and the attachment on the bottom and middle have shorter shoulders.

may work?

Maybe, I guess I just need to go find a junkyard and start looking

Sounds like what the truck uses for seatbelt hold downs as well. I just used an allen head to take mine out though and it was no trouble.

synopsis of the bad in the thread
2 12" ROCKFORDS 4000 WATTS

3 10" ROCKFORDS 1200 WATTS

In a 99 ecsb no back seat. 12's face down. 10's face the front.

^Sean's reply to this is what got him banned :lol2:

The subs are too close to the flood to "load" properly. If they sat 4-5 inches up, sure, but you still wouldn't be moving the maximum air possible. Thats why people face subs up in SUVs, not down. I promise, you'll never see someone in a competition have subs facing down. Forward, or up, is the way to go in a truck.
I've seen plenty of stereo demo vehicles at the CES and SEMA that have mixed sizes of subs. Different sizes have crossovers for different frequencies, For example you might have you 12" subs on a crossover set to hit anything below 60Hz, and then have your 10" subs set to hit 60Hz-120Hz, and then maybe a set of 8" subs for anything higher.
Not trying to be a dick here dude... I'm just saying, from experience, you'd make more noise with a different enclosure. And, also, from experience, NEVER MIX SIZES or BRANDS. Sounds like ass. If you think it sounds good, you've never heard any decent quality music.
Yeah ok SO the BOSE in my diesel is not DECENT? How bout the BOSE in my house is it Decent? Since you havent heard any of it YOU DONT KNOW.

I didn't think that was the thread that got me banned, Bassballer's SQ Install was...dumb ass Audiomechanix dipshit.

A Super Mod needs to either clean out the "SQ Show Off" thread or delete it entirely and start over...

I remember having a good thread like that in the VIP section without all the idiots posting in it, but it must have been lost in the data loss :(

I don't see a problem with it?

Hopefully by paying cash for the car I get in the next couple months will be enough pull to get the salesman to move a little bit. I want a car cover and a set of winter tires, too.

Hmm, think I could tow a 4000lb boat with that? I know they would in Europe.

If it were a diesel.... maybe

Laid down a layer of Damplifer Pro on the floor of the civic trunk and hatch. Awesome stuff. Back is flat out sore. I want to put more down and do the rear quarter walls but I am so not up for pulling off those parts that are 1/2 the length of the interior. Feel like if I get them off and get the damplifer down I am not going to put those panels back on.

If that were the 530i and 6 speed, there could not be a more perfect car for me for SSA show stuff.

Cash can actually sometimes hurt the negotiation as they make money in finance. I'd actually tell them you plan to finance with them and when it comes time in finance pay cash. What will make the salesman move is to be firm with your offers and 100% prepared to walk away if you don't get the deal you want. 9 out of 10 car deals I make, I get up to leave at least 2x in the process of negotiating.

It "looks" the same as the ones for the back seat of the e/c trucks. Obviously not sure, but GM is stupid enough to use multiple different ones.

Probably, but I don't think BMW ever put one in one of those

But, there are LT1 wagons.

And plenty of old Nova, Chevelle, and Impala wagons that can carry a big block.

I'll have to remember that.

About the GM thing... I had my friend order one, took 2 weeks to get it, and then it was a totally different bolt
