getting ready to try airborne to kick this cold before it gets ahold of me. i'm not a huge fan of vitamin C for colds but i'll try anything to avoid getting sick at this point.

whether it's purely placebo effect or not, I've had good results with Airborne

Current weather conditions & forecast @ 1400 CST.

coldbrrrr.jpg

this makes me wonder y u would put up with such extreme weather?

(but i can see if thats where u grew up or ur job is there.)

im content with sweating more here in texas then having my nuts froze off lol

grew up here.

It's really not THAT bad... just learn to layer up, and pick up indoor hobbies. It's not like it is this cold ALL the time. I just spent an hour outside getting a friend's car running, and I wasn't cold at all.

We do get 100+ degree days in the summer too. One of the few places in the world that goes from one extreme to the other.

5 yards would definitely be enough to do the 2

might be able to get by with less though

I like a nice cup of NeoCitran before I go to bed if I've got a cold. I haven't had one in a long time....I can't remember the last time I was legitimately sick (ie. not just feeling lazy).

Usually the more advanced do.

Gah how I wish metric system was #1 in school especially at the university level because all other lvls would follow suit

I don't see why you couldn't get the good majority of the stains out of the carpet Tom. Probably 2 or three cans of carpet cleaning stuff would do 'er. Cheaper than new carpet. :)

Considering new, good carpet costs 3-400, I'll probably try cleaning it first.

steam cleaner rental, $20

the ones for house carpet will work fine?

Yes, and fill the bish with boiling water instead of room temperature. The hotter the water the better.

DIYMA is packed full of fucking babies lately. Ridiculous.

I can't go there, it drives me nuts. Turned into ECA in the past few months and what used to be a nice useful site is now over run with shit. :(
