Adrian, my best friend's first car was a VW rabbit. We actually looked at two different ones when he was looking. The first one was a brown diesel (74hp) model, 4sp. There is a large steep hill that is about 1/4 mile long coming into the town I grew up in. It could not make the hill. We knew then, the gas model was the choice.

Thanks for the link, Steve has already done a few though at least it IIRC from reading lots of posts. I didn't realize they were smaller, but while those guys whine about the first gear I love it as it will allow me to run a really docile rear end and still have all the RPM's necessary to launch effectively.

The government sent a new registration tax project to the EU and should get an answer about it before january 15.

I hope they change it before the snow melts so i can register the heep and hit the mountain roads
