sean...we're taking vacation either the 8-15 or 11-18, which would be better for the get together thing you have named and i don't remember? i'll bring the tl too....

and while working today, i just hit on something we should have did last time you were here...there are a shitton of local vineyards. 3-5 within 15minutes. me? if you pay more then $3 for the bottle, you paid too much, lol...

wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee :slayer:

8-15

Show is on the 12th in Rochester. Amusingly it is our anniversary as well, but the w found out she has no choice. :D

:lol2: way to go Sean :fing34:

Maybe we should start an invite only forum?

Better than the "We don't trust you so give us money" approach taken by Audiokarma...

One of these days I'm going to have to have someone explain to me what is up with the bastardization of a "daily driver". As if I'm automatically supposed to know what that means when it's mentioned in a post.

I understand SPL competition, I get Bassrace...but that's not what these people are building. They're just building things that do nothing but disturb the peace of those around them, and ruin their hearing. The one time I've been in a 150+dB environment, I couldn't think of anything else but getting out of there...and these people are driving around like that? Aren't there enough asshats that can't deal with their vehicles with no distractions involved?

Just strikes me as an odd, damaging, and irresponsible thing to be doing...*shrugs*

compensation.

Who's the math guy in here?
I want to say me, but I have a feeling this is not going to be fun ...

I would not have asked who the math guy was if I had seen your name at the bottom of the screen! :P

It is pretty simple, I am just not sure which answer is correct.

2(sin3tcosx - sinxcos3t) + 2(sin3tcosx + sinxcos3t) = ?

The -sinxcos3t and +sinxcos3t cancel from what I can see ... so I am left with either 4sin6tcos2x or 4sin3tcosx ... I think.

Normally I just have to plug stuff into SPSS and it does the work for me :( It's been a long time since I took a math class.

If you start with 2(sin(3t)*cos(x) - sin(x)*cos(3t)) + 2(sin(3t)*cos(x) + sin(x)*cos(3t), I get 4*sin(3t)*cos(x)

I start with y1 = 2sin(3t - x) and y2 = 2sin (3t + x) ... I had just expanded them out.

I was just unsure if they were treated as one term or if you added them.

what exactly are you trying to do with those two equations?

Add them together (y1+y2 = ).

I expanded them out using the trig identity.

Hmm, I would just leave it as 2*sin(3t-x) + 2*sin(3t+x), but if a trig identity gives you what you first posted, then what I said is the simplified version of that

what a night. left here about 8'ish made it about 50-60 miles before the stratus's front end started shaking like crazy.

pull over to check everything, i see nothing wrong, shake the wheels to make sure it's not a loose lug nut...everything is fine. I've been thinking my cv halfshafts are going bad..yea axles. So i continue on, give the parents a call to let them know where i am and that i'll probably be stranded soon (but that's an easy fix i don't care to do beside the road with proper tools. I figure i'd just sleep in the car and they could come in the morning with the new axle.

so it gets way worse, i pull off at a wal-mart to check everything again, can't see the axles so i check everything i can see...driver's side is fine, passenger's side is fine. I shake the passengers side wheel and hear a strange grinding. And then notice that i now have only 2 lug nuts left!!! when i stopped the time before i had 4 (someone stole one at some point in the past month). So in about 10miles two broke off, that's right, no lug, no lug nut.

i call a tow company and pull forward about 5' so i'm not in the middle of the wally world lane, and another bolt breaks.

i can't figure out what the fudge happened, they weren't loose, there's no signs of the wheel flopping on the lug or lug nut, no signs of heat, it's like the car was just too damn heavy??????

off to advance tomorrow to pick up a new hub, at 159k it should appreciate the new bearing.

I did it outside in December when it was snowing, but I don't recommend that :)

I feel like garbage this morning. A little morphine right when I wake up doesn't help, though, but it might get me through today.

warmer the better, but that should be more than fine as long as you use a quality product
