I just need to get a degree in business or something, then open up my own custom woodshop like I want to and call it good.

Why do you think I went the way I did :)

What way are you going now? I can't remember. Business?

Yeah...

I'd feel stupid coming out with a business degree. The only things I've ever been good at and enjoy are building/designing things, fixing problems, and shooting. Business incorporates nothing of that.

fudge Me Sideways

Why can't they just have a degree in woodworking????

No, I mean precision beautiful artwork woodworking, the kind of thing you learn how to do by talking to the old farts and building way to many things. :)

Although I'm highly debating on getting a job at a cabinet shop this summer just to get back in a woodshop full time.

Either that or going home and trying to make speakers full time and sell 'em.

My neighbor does have an amazing woodshop and does some awesome work, He builds cabinets counters nice shelving and repairs old antique furniture. It might not be exactly what you want but its a great way to hone skills and it allows you a perfect reason to own the finest woodworking tools for any other hobbies you might have as well ;)

Make simple wooden furniture. Some people want/need cheap, quality chairs/tables without all the fancy designs and engravings. My friend runs a rattan furniture store, and the prices for that stuff is pretty mean. I like simple and functional.

I would kill for that shop too.

Actually, when I get my own place my shop will be bigger than my house (and probably worth more) I want to incorporate many aspects of shops I've seen like a transmission shop where I would eat off the floors, Metal shops, wood working shops, and a car lift will definitely be in order. Gah, I'm going to be poor the rest of my life....

The idea of a CA.com meet kind of scares me, in all honesty.

There are a lot of people on there I definitely don't want to meet, even be in the same state as.

everyone is entitled to their own opinion and I respect yours. However, I get a long with a lot of the people in the jello and crunk thread and if they lived near me I'm sure we could all be good friends. I'm not saying any of those guys are meeting me in Tulsa but there's one guy that seems pretty cool.

SSA sure doesn't ever have any meets *cough* *cough*

Tom & I are tomorrow.

And hopefuly Jordan and me next summer :D

Sean, you said you were going to a trip in Germany ?
