actually it isn't slow on the load time it is from the time I hit the reply button until the screen flashes it is slow. Almost like it has to decide whether to accept the post or not. It didn't do that until a few weeks ago. Once the page starts to come up it is nearly instantaneous, but I do have some bandwidth

I baddly need more house/dance/trance music for my iPod for workouts. RIAA/iTunes screwed me bad, each time I plug it in to the computer, I lose another chunk of songs. I was close to 800, but now not even 500. :(

I've got a lot of music that you would probably like if you want that style. I don't know how I could send it to you though, we can work something out I'm sure.

Then you would have a decreasing number of documents or phone book entries just like your songs.

Eww Vonage.

Just hope you guys always keep your cells handy in case of an emergency.

Oink.

Or we get what we've been talking about up and running, and I finally get off my ass and encode this pile of trance records I've had sitting here.

Trance/house is really a perfect genre for vinyl, instead of singles that are 3 minutes long the singles take up the whole side :)

Finished listening to the SI BM in the ported enclosure, I didn't like it anywhere near as much as the sealed (to be expected) but it needed its fair shake in both.

Random thought:

The fact that the Romans could build the Pont Du Gard aqueduct in general impresses me, but the fact that it has an accurate slope of 1:3000 simply stuns me. And build the thing out of unmortared stone.

the fact that the roads they built are still smooth enough to be used by cars today is pretty damn impressive too

Hell there is so much stuff that is impressive about the Romans. Worth visiting Italy just for that purpose. I know my jaw dropped regularly last year when we were there.

Italy is one place I'd like to visit at some point.

sure hate to get in a wreck in one of these....

http://www.darkroastedblend.com/2007/08/wo...t-vehicles.html

The best line on the page:

"Despite having only one light (of any kind) and 5-inch wheels, the car was nevertheless deemed street legal."

My cousin actually has a BMW Isetta and drives it around in Fargo, ND.

This picture cracks me up too.

It is really funny to travel in Germany and see little 3 series BM'ers from the 80's pulling big ass campers, but that there takes the cake.

Back in the day, it was pretty common to see first gen Camaros pulling campers and boats

Nothing like an Isetta pulling something though

got a demand for cartoons from the customs officer too :D

wait, you bribe your customs officer with cartoons?

well, i have to get around the fees...

I'm just saying it's a tad peculiar that you can bribe government officials with something like cartoons.

Perhaps a trip to the Eastern block would enlighten you a bit. I got "caught" doing a bunch of things that were pretty easy to get out of.

I guess when something is contraband there, but we can get it so easily, it can be used for a bribe, even if it is something as silly as cartoons

Still think Tom is the only one using the IPB 2.1 skin.

It's important to stand for what you believe in, even if you're standing alone
