my test tomorrow is open book and open notes

that scares me

it should, I would say most good tests are that way as if you don't already grasp what you need to you aren't going to find it in the book anyways.

It wasn't a test like that. It was a test where there were so many problems that you didn't have time to look anything up, you just have write, write, write.

I'm fairly certain I got pwned.

sorry this is what sucks.

yarr, the test was about twice as long our weekly homework which is supposed to take us 6 hours, we had 50 minutes

For 450$ I'll even veneer (cherry) the second layer of the front baffle and paint the rest black.

Do you have Frat houses? If so, take them down for a demo with a price of $800 and see what happens. I am sure some party house would be glad to buy them from you after negotiating them down to $700.

when they ask what you have into them don't forget to automatically include money for your time as a professional wood worker. $700 would be a steal to them or at least should be.

I hadn't thought of marketing it to a Frat house.... :D

I like the way you think Sean. :D

Hell, any party house. If no one person hops up, tell them to all go in on them.

The current crossover is a second order highpass on the fostex tweeters at 5khz if I remember correctly. I don't think it is possible to blow the tweeters which is what I was worried about. I've flogged them for a about two hours and they are still living with no adverse affects.

Throw a 400w or so rack amp on them to keep from clipping and I think they would be the loudest indoor party speakers in Manhattan.

With my little ART SLA-1 rack amp, 100w per channel a hair before the clip lights come on is past the pain threashold and they aren't straining. I'm going to bring my Powerlight 1.0HV and put it on them sometime to see how loud they get. *I wear ear plugs when I do this.... *

Guys, if we do have a mid-west meet next summer, I'd love for it to coincide with the Hot Rod Power Tour so that I could do both because, basically, the Power Tour is one of the coolest things you could possibly do with a car. And it goes right through the entire Mid-West.

June 7: Little Rock, AR

June 8: Springfield, MO

June 9: Topeka, KS

June 10: Lincoln, NE

June 11: Ames: IA

June 12: Rochester, MN

June 13-14: Madison, WI

The body lines just don't look 'right', it doesn't 'flow' *for a lack of a better term*, the convertible top is ugly, and the stance is ugly too.

Tom, are you going with the Impala on the Power Tour, and going through Topeka?

Fucking union, how the hell can GM pay you all when they used to have 60% of the market when you were hired and now with less than 30%, it obviously isn't going to work. I hope that GM says FUCK IT and fires the damn union. Who cares if it takes them 6 months to get running again. It will screw some shit up, but would be the first and only non chapter 11 manuver that could actually do something.

Bring it with and overprice it by $50.
