I was blessed with the Spec then, no molex connector, lots of room (although I only have a single run of 16 into it). Only thing I was the doors had were the removable inner metal, like most of the new cars now. That way I could get my deadener on the outer panel without the contortion act.

I received a PM from him before, when I first called that "work" a hack job.

This was in response to me mentioning knife inserts for mounting solutions

hi, i am the installer doing the bmw for hypnotiq. those are good and all but there is too problems. 1. is when dealing with fiberglass they often won't dig in like they do with wood and yes you can push them in or even hammer them in but sometimes they fail. 2. is they can strip out the wood under tightening and are not recommended for particle board which includes mdf and hdf. you have alot of great input.

"i mean i know at certain distances wire developes a slightly audible difference as it has resistance too."

So does this mean at certain distances it has zero resistance too?

Or does he not know how to communicate anything slightly technical?

Looks like I'm going to be doing an install in a convertible '02 Trans Am WS6. Shall be interesting for the sub install (which is his first priority), going to try & convince him to let me replace the whole thing :)

LOL, increases to what? 0.002 ohms @ 200ft? IMO there is no need to ever have more than 16ga. speaker wire in anything.

He just doesn't know...

I could register, pull out one of my textbooks, do some math for him, and lay it all out.

Then again, I doubt he would listen anyway, and then there would be someone else to tell me I did my math wrong.

Instead I'll just chuckle and work on my Eng Phys II.

Something about not planning ahead...

Pulling out math is all good sometimes, but when you know damn sure they can't follow it, you are just pissing into the wind.

I love the dude who posted pics of his car that he rolled after trying to hit an armadillo, made me laugh. The fact that he didn't hit it is even funnier.

Considering they filled half the trunk with expanding foam , and covered it with body filler . I don't think structural integrity was high up on thier to do list :)

Pissing into the wind leaves such a mess for the person attempting it, occasionally I've found its better to hold for a little while till your out of the wind. :)

I am not sure its real. He has been here a little bit now, and started a bunch of new topics. But I was not sure if it was serious either, maybe its me trying to avoid animals who are born with body armor. Oh the story to tell the grandkids.

it's a all show and no go car.

i really shouldn't comment, since i expect my first attempt at glassing to end up VERY crappy
